Growth charts

Growth is an important indicator of a child's health. Our charts allow health professionals to plot and measure height and weight from birth to young adulthood. You can download and print or order paper copies from an external supplier or explore our digital growth charts.
Our award-winning tool calculates centiles and standard deviation scores for growth, displaying the result on a graph, and integrates with electronic patient records. It's already in use across many NHS Trusts and available on a subscription basis, with a free tier for testing.

You can order high resolution printed growth charts from an external supplier and download free (lower resolution) copies on this website.
The health professionals that look after your baby or child will plot their growth on a growth chart, which may be on paper or a computer. This helps us see whether she or he is following the expected pattern. The growth charts are for children from all ethnic backgrounds. There are different charts for boys and girls, for babies who are born early and for children with Down syndrome.
Anyone who measures a child, plots or interprets growth charts should be trained and/or supervised. We have some videos to help you measure children, including weight, height, supine length and head circumference.
